Resharpening

- Resharpen the blades
- Tension adjustments
- Blade adjustment / tapping over without taking scissors off screw
Best for scissors that are fundamentally sound, but have gone dull or slightly out of adjustment.
Repair
£20 - £30
- Getting scissors back to working order
- Taking scissors off-screw
- Spring / screw replacement
- Regrinding hollows and tapping over blades
- Light polishing for rust removal
Best for pairs with mechanical issues, worn action, or faults that need corrective work.
Restoration
£25 - £55
- Full refurbishment
- Regrinding the entirety of the scissors to remove rust / pitting
- Regrinding the hollows
- Mirror polish or forced patina depending on preference
- Repainting the bows
Best for scissors with heavier rust, pitting, neglected surfaces, or customers wanting a more complete restoration.
